Congratulations to Daniel Mitchell, Lead Product Owner for Callisto, who has won the Outstanding Achievement Award run by our apprenticeship provider, MTC Training.

Daniel is completing his Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship with Callisto. As part of National Apprenticeship Week 2023, MTC Training held an awards ceremony celebrating the achievements of apprentices, their mentors, and the businesses involved in promoting apprenticeships. Daniel Mitchell won his award for his attitude and commitment.

“Daniel’s positivity shines through in all aspects of his work. He is supportive of others and utilises the skills and knowledge he learnt from the apprenticeship into his daily role.”

The award came as a surprise to Daniel, who said: “I've really tried to throw myself into the apprenticeship, as I think you will only get out of it what you put into it. I'm really grateful for the acknowledgement. If other people have the opportunity to attend the course, I'd strongly recommend it.

“My success so far wouldn't have been possible without my manager, Nick Pearson, Head of Operations at Callisto. He has been unbelievable when it comes to coaching and education pieces. He makes sure I have the required time within my working hours to complete all the work I need to.”

This was MTC Training’s first awards ceremony combining craft, leadership and degree apprenticeships.

Luke McGrahan, Learning and Development Specialist for M Group Services Energy Division said: “It is great to see Daniel being recognised in the first ever MTC Training awards. As a division we currently have 30 team leader apprentices and will the starting our fifth cohort in March. We see this apprenticeship as a great way to upskill and support existing, new and future leaders.”
